We'd had a good experience with the Big Screen Store when we purchased our first "big screen" TV over a decade ago, so we decided to go there again to replace our other TV. I first did some internet research to confirm their TV prices were comparable with several of the "big box" stores, plus we knew they would have a better selection of cabinets to choose from. We also knew we would need some hand-holding in making the selection, and Jeff, the sales manager, was extremely obliging and courteous in this respect. He clearly explained the different features of the various TV models, inquired about our viewing habits, and based on those, agreed that we did not necessarily need the most expensive model. Because this TV was going in our living room, we wanted a cabinet that was reasonably priced but also was an attractive piece of furniture, and he pointed out several floor models which were on sale. From these, we were able to find an affordable one that fit in perfectly with the rest of our decor. All in all, the store experience, which I'd been dreading, turned out to be very pleasant. Jeff was able to set up a delivery in two days., and the charge was reasonable. He explained we would get a call that day between 7:30 and 8:30 giving us a 3-hour window. The call came right around 7:30 giving us a window of 8-11, and the truck pulled in at 8:15! I think this is one of the few times we weren't waiting around until the very end of our window for whatever service or delivery person was scheduled! Amazing! The crew was courteous and efficient, and since we were doing our own install, they were in and out in about ten minutes. Later on, Jeff phoned us to be sure delivery had occurred and everything had gone satisfactorily. Bottom line, you can't ask for better customer service than we received, and I would say that The Big Screen Store checked every box in terms of product, price, and service. We would recommend them without hesitation.
Jeff and Mason are very knowledgeable about the products they sell and they take enough time to figure out which system is suitable for you. They are also very honest about upcoming sales/promotions etc. You get a great boutique experience with same price as the big box stores. I am very happy with my purchase of Samsung Q9 and Bose audio from the Big Screen Store.
We recently purchased a 65 inch smart TV from the Big Screen Store in Tyson's Corner. Jeff was the sales consultant who we worked with and he was excellent in all respects. He really took his time to explain the various options based on the various inputs we provided. The delivery/ wall mount installation process was also excellent. . I had a wonderful experience at the Big Screen Store. I bought a 4K TV on Black Friday in 2016. Mason was very helpful in helping me select the best fit based on my budget and my TV habits. The following summer, my TV malfunctioned and wouldn't turn on, and once again Mason was extremely helpful in getting Samsung to cover the issue as it was still under the 1 year manufacturer's warranty. He followed up diligently until the repair was completed and never missed a beat. I highly recommend the Big Screen Store in Tyson's for all your TV needs, A+ service!
