I wish I could give them 6 stars. So happy we found them after having so many horror story experiences with other pediatric dentists in the area. Dr. Island and her staff are terrific. My kids enjoy their experience there and Dr. Island's recommendations are always spot on.
I don't recommend this dentistry. For a year and a half we went to this office. Six months ago we took x-rays. The x-ray failed to show the bottom half of a tooth that was in an advanced stage of decay. Right now this tooth has to be extracted.. When asked...the dentist blamed the poor x-ray on our child...(she did not bite down properly during the x-ray) So remember if your child has a problem it is not poor dental procedures at the office.. It is just your child's fault. Your child should have had better training on how to work with a dentist. Perhaps each child should attend medical school for 3 years prior to being allowed to go the dentist. The office is nice and clean. But if you want a professional job, first get trained to be a professional patient.
Dr. Gema is THE best with kids. She is kind and thoughtful and careful with them. We love her!
Dr. island has a true gift, and it shows. My daughters went for their first visit just last week. My three-year-old was especially scared of going anywhere near a dentist. Dr island and her team were wonderful, letting her sit on a stool instead of the dental chair. I think my daughters felt like pampered celebrities by the end of their visit! And the advice and tips and care were top notch. I can’t recommend this team enough!
Dr. Island and her staff are amazing. My daughter actually looks forward to her check ups. Dr. Island spends the time to answer any and all questions during the appointment. The staff is so sweet and gentle while doing the cleanings. Also the office is super cute and clean! Highly recommend Dr. Island!
